Topics are pages of your help file with text and screenshots. You can use topics for writing explanatory text that covers aspects of your software or, for writing a short introduction for some large section of your help file.

 

Topics can have sub-nodes: topics and window screenshot pages.

 

To add a new topic to your project, select a parent node in the tree and click the Add Topic Page button in the main toolbar

 

You can rename the page in the tree by clicking on it or use the Title field of the properties pane.

 

You can rearrange pages by dragging and moving them across the project tree. Use Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down keyboard shortcuts to change the order of sibling pages within a section.

 

You can exclude (hide) a node from the output by selecting the node and pressing the Delete key.
