The Tools Menu includes a set of auxiliary tools helpful for professional help authoring: Context Help ID management and project validation functions.
 Validation tool
Validation tool is one of the advanced features available with the Advanced License.
The Validation tool displays up to six tabbed pages for different types of errors and warnings:
1. Duplicated topic/page names
2. Broken links
3. Unlinked keywords
4. Missing topic/page names
5. Missing or invalid Alias/Help ID values
6. Duplicated Alias/Help ID values

 Compacting tool
The Compacting tool is an advanced function available with the Advanced License.
It allows compacting your project by removing inactive elements: pages, topics, and controls.

 Assign Help ID
This command launches the Assign Help ID tool.

 Remove Help ID
This command launches the Remove Help ID tool.
|
 Import map file
This command launches the Import Help ID tool.
|
 Export map file
This command launches the Export Help ID tool.
