Export to PDF file
The dialog enables you to create Adobe Acrobat PDF files. Launch the dialog from the Make PDF button in the application's toolbar.
 
PDF files are convenient for printing and distribution as platform independent documentation. PDF files produced by the Dr.Explain contain Topic of Contents (TOC), bookmarks, links, and graphics.

PDF Export  options

1. PDF Export ~optionsThis button invokes the PDF Export Settings dialog that allows customizing the structure and appearance of the PDF pages.

Open PDF file

2. Open PDF fileCheck this box to automatically open the generated PDF file.

Validation  tool option

3. Validation~ tool optionCheck this option to run the project validation tool before exporting.

Silently  overwrite

If this is not the first time you run PDF export, you are prompted to check this option to avoid the Save As.. dialog.

Progress bar

This shows the progress of the process.

Process log

The log shows if the export operations are completed successfully.

Start export

7. Start exportThis button Starts/Stops the export process.

Close button

This button cancels the export.
