The validation tool is one of the advanced features available with the
Advanced License.
Use the 'Tools\Validation tool' menu item or Ctrl+J hotkey to validate the current project.
The validation tool displays different types of errors and warnings:
1. Duplicated topic/page names
2. Broken links
3. Unlinked keywords
4. Missed topic/page names
5. Missed or invalid Alias/Help ID values
6. Duplicated Alias/Help ID values
 Errors and Warnings groups
The tabbed pages represent various groups of errors and warnings encountered in your project, in order of their severity.

 Issues list
 The list displays the errors and warnings of the certain type. See the hint below the list to determine how to fix them.

 Hint
The hint shows how to fix the errors and warnings in the list.

 Recheck button
 Press this button to recheck the project when the issues are fixed.
|
|
 OK button
 Press this button to accept and save the changes.
|
|
 Cancel button
 Press this button to discard the changes and cancel the dialog.
|
|
 Options button
 Press this button to specify what types of errors to check during the validation.
