Application main window

The main window of Dr.Explain software. It allows you to manage your project elements. In this window you may create new projects, add new elements to them and manage the application options and the project settings as well.

Main toolbar

The toolbar of the application. It provides quick access to the key functions of the Dr.Explain software. See Application Toolbar section for detailed descriptions of the toolbar's buttons.

Project tree

The tree view displays the structure of your project and allows quickly navigate among the project's elements: topics and screenshot pages.

Use pop-up menu to add new elements to the project, to rename, to delete, to disable, or to rearrange nodes.

Use Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down hot keys to change the order of the sibling nodes in a section.

Properties\Keyword list pane

$3. Properties\Keyword ~list pane$ The panel allows to specify topic properties and keyword index list.

Status bar

It shows the status and progress of the operations being performed. The status bar also displays hints for the toolbar buttons and menu items when the mouse is over them.

Mode tabs

The tab control allows to easily switch from Editing to Preview modes.

Content editor

The main working area of the application allows editing topic content in WYSIWYG style.
