CHM export settings

CHM export settings

The dialog allows you to setup the appearance of the output HTML pages in CHM file. It's similar to HTML Export settings dialog. Click Project Options button in the application toolbar to customize the appearance of the current project. Also you may press "Options\Global Settings ..." item in the application menu to set the global style. It will be applied to all newly created projects by default.

1 . Color themeColor theme

Color theme

Use it to apply one of the predefined color themes to the output HTML files. You may also create your own color themes by using the buttons near the theme list.

 

2 . Custom CSSCustom CSS

Custom CSS

Check this option to specify you own CSS file to customize the appearance of HTML pages: fonts, colors, sizes, etc.

 

3 . Left side menuLeft side menu

Left side menu

Check this option to create left side menu on each HTML page.

 

4 . Hide  Dr.Explain linkHide Dr.Explain link

Hide  Dr.Explain link

We don't wish you to check this option :-)

 

5 . Pop-up tooltips Pop-up tooltips

Pop-up tooltips

This option is one of the advanced features available with Advanced License.

 

This option enables pop-up tooltips that are displayed when user moves mouse cursor over the bullet on the screenshot picture. The tooltips may include the associated control description, so user haven't to scroll down the page to read it.

 

 

6 . Import HTML export  settingsImport HTML export settings

Import HTML export  settings

This button allows auto import of the same settings from HTML export settings.

 

 

7 . OK buttonOK button

OK button

Press to close the dialog and to accept the changes.

 

 

8 . Default topicDefault topic

Default topic

Use this field to specify the default topic file name to be initially shown when the CHM is opened.

 

9 . Image subfolderImage subfolder

Image subfolder

Use this filed to specify the subfolder for image files.

Example: if your HTML files will be placed in /help/ folder and you want to keep all image files in /help/img folder then specify img in this field.

 

10 . Next/Prev linksNext/Prev links

Next/Prev links

Check this option to create Next\Previous navigation links on each HTML page.

 

11 . [Top] links[Top] links

[Top] links

Check this option to insert [Top] links after the descriptions of controls on the screenshot pages.

 

12 . Clickable areaClickable area

Clickable area

Specify here what area must be clickable on screenshot: reference bullet or control rectangle.

 

13 . Setup HTML templateSetup HTML template

Setup HTML template

Use this button to specify your own HTML code for page header and footer.

 

14 . Apply Global StyleApply Global Style

Apply Global Style

Press the button to apply the default application settings to the current project.

 

 

15 . Cancel buttonCancel button

Cancel button

It cancels the dialog and discards all the changes.
