How to plug a new national dictionary into the spell checker?

1. Go to 'Options\ Program Settings' menu and run Application Settings dialog.

2. Press 'Spell Checking Setup'

3. Add new dictionaries to the list from folder <Program Files>\<Dr Explain>\spell\

How to plug a custom dictionary into the spell checker?

Custom dictionary is a plain text file that contains words - one word per line.

1. Go to 'Option\ Program Settings' menu and run Application Settings dialog.

2. Press 'Spell Checking Setup'

3. In the 'Custom Dictionary' section press 'Dictionaries'

4. Press 'New' or 'Add' and specify the filename for the custom dictionary.

5. Press Ok.

6. Press Ok.

I am trying to compile a CHM file and keep getting

"Failed to run MS HHWC (8)!" error.

What is the problem?

Please, make sure you have specified the path to HTML Help Workshop in the CHM Export Dialog.

If you have no Microsoft HTML Help Workshop installed then you may freely download it from Microsoft web site.

Is there anyway to scale the images down after capturing them?

You may use Resize button in the designer toolbar to resize the screenshot picture proportionally. Also, you may resize the screenshot right in the editor by dragging its corner handles.

On a licensed version of your software will it put your logo

and "created by" markings anywhere in project?

No. These marks are active only in demo mode. After registration you may turn them off.

How can I put a picture with a web link in the header of my pages?

To create HTML pages with logo ...

1. Run HTML Export dialog and specify a work folder there.

2. Copy your graphics file (e.g. logo.jpg) to the work folder.

3. Press HTML Export Settings button.

4. In the HTML Export Settings dialog press Setup HTML template button.

5. Before #DE_HEADER type in something like this:

<body leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">

<div style="text-align: right; width: 100%;"><a href="http://www.company.com/" target="_blank"><img src="logo.jpg" border=0></a></div>

instead of <body> tag.

At the top and bottom of each help page is text that says,

"TODO: Insert your HTML code here. (Press here to edit the HTML template)".

I would like to remove it.

Please edit the preset HTML headers and footers to get rid of this <TODO> and to insert your logo, menus, etc...
