HTML export settings

HTML export settings

The dialog allows you to setup the appearance of the output HTML pages. Click Project Options button in the application toolbar to customize the appearance of the current project. Also you may press "Options\Global Settings ..." item in the application menu to set the global style. It will be applied to all newly created projects by default.

1 . File extension

Use the field to specify the extension of the output files.

 

2 . Color theme

Color theme

Use it to apply one of the predefined color themes to the output HTML files. You may also create your own color themes by using the buttons near the theme list.

 

3 . Custom CSS

Check this option to specify you own CSS file to customize the appearance of HTML pages: fonts, colors, sizes, etc.

 

4 . Left side menu

Check this option to create left side menu on each HTML page.

 

5 . Clickable area

Specify here what area must be clickable on screenshot: reference bullet or control rectangle.

 

6 . Pop-up tooltips

Pop-up tooltips

This option is one of the advanced features available with Advanced License.

 

This option enables pop-up tooltips that are displayed when user moves mouse cursor over the bullet on the screenshot picture. The tooltips may include the associated control description, so user haven't to scroll down the page to read it.

 

 

7 . Setup HTML template

Use this button to specify your own HTML code for page header and footer.

 

8 . Import CHM settings

This button allows auto import of the same settings from CHM HTML export settings.

 

9 . OK button

Press to close the dialog and to accept the changes.

 

 

10 . Image subfolder

Image subfolder

Use this filed to specify the subfolder for image files.

Example: if your HTML files will be placed in /help/ folder and you want to keep all image files in /help/img folder then specify img in this field.

 

11 . Next/Prev links

Check this option to create Next\Previous navigation links on each HTML page.

 

12 . [Top] links
[Top] links

[Top] links

Check this option to insert [Top] links after the descriptions of controls on the screenshot pages.

 

13 . Make print version  pages
Make print version pages

Make print version  pages

This option is one of the advanced features available with Advanced License.

 

This option allows you generating print version of each HTML page which is specially formatted to fit the paper size. Print versions of HTML pages don't contain menus, navigation links and borders.

 

This will help your readers to print help pages right from their web browsers.

15 . PNG Transparency

Use this option to specify if the PNG images must have solid white or transparent background.

16 . Apply Global Style

Press the button to apply the default application settings to the current project.

 

 

17 . Cancel button

Cancel button

It cancels the dialog and discards all the changes.
