Contest rules

  • Only real photos are accepted.
We're sure you are a PhotoShop wizard, but please, leave your witchery alone for a spell. No fakes, no collages, no visual effects are allowed this time.

  • Dr.Explain identity plug must be clearly visible on the photo.
Dr.Explain identity means: Dr.Explain's logo, "Dr.Explain", or a "www.drexplain.com" titles. You may either draw it on a paper, banner, wall; or crop it in a rye field; or display the Dr.Explain webpage or splash screen on the monitor of your PC.
Please don't add the Dr.Explain identity on the photo in image editor.

  • Your identity must be clearly visible on the photo.
Your identity means: your company\organization name, your web site\blog address (no adult or illegal sites please), your DBA name, etc.
Your identity is more than just your full name. It's the name of your business.
An image editor is not a way. The identity must be physically present in the scene.

  • 1 or more real persons must be shown on the photo.
All the pictured persons must belong to your team or a workgroup (i.e. identity mentioned above) who is going to use Dr.Explain software license. It must be clearly visible that all of them actively participate in the contest. I.e. please avoid making photo with occasional pedestrians.

  • Submissions with free e-mail address (hotmail, yahoo, gmail) aren't accepted.
We do not collect your e-mails for further rent or sale. We will use it only for sending you a discount coupon code and related info.
We require a real e-mail address on a paid domain to be able to check if you belong to the identity you put on your photo. Of course, there are exceptions.
If you use a free e-mail service but can prove your identity by another way, please contact us (don't send photos via e-mail though).

  • Please limit the number of submissions per person/company to one.
There's no need to overwhelm us by dozens of photo sessions. Please, choose the most exciting photo and submit it.

  • All the photo files sent will become the property of Dr.Explain team (Indigo Byte Systems).
We'll obtain the copyrights on all the images that you submit to participate in the contest. We may use it freely on our website and in other promotional stuff.
