Web pages capturing and automatic annotation

The Dr.Explain tool is very handy for making help system with many screenshots for web sites, portals or web applications.

Look at this web site screenshot below. The Dr.Explain's screen capturing tool grabbed the web page from the Internet Explorer web browser. The web page was longer than the browser window, so the Dr.Explain automatically scrolled down the length of it. It recognized all user controls and enumerated them. The user simply adjusted positions of the numbered callouts and tweaked their titles accordingly. All images and active content was also properly captured by the tool.

Moreover, the Dr.Explain knows how HTML works in the Internet Explorer web browser. It can analyze HTML tag structure and capture just certain parts of the web page. For example, we captured just a Login form block from the same web page.

Again, the Dr.Explain recognized all user controls and enumerated them.

The Dr.Explain can also create help for Windows software applications and Shockwave Flash (SWF) programs.
