Application main window

The toolbar of the application. It provides quick access to the key functions of the Dr.Explain software. See Application Toolbar section for detailed descriptions of the toolbar's buttons.

Designer toolbar is active for screen (Window) pages. It enables you to operate with screenshots, bullets and to customize the designer workspace. See Designer Toolbar section for detailed descriptions of the buttons.

The tab control allows to easily switch from Design to Preview modes, to Screen Editor mode.

The main working area of the application allows manipulating screenshots and label bullets in drag-and-drop manner.

The tree view displays the structure of your project and allows quickly navigate among the project's elements: topics and screenshot pages.

Use pop-up menu to add new elements to the project, to rename, to delete, to disable, or to rearrange nodes.

Use Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down hot keys to change the order of the sibling nodes in a section.

Controls\Keywords pane allows managing window screenshot controls and keyword index list.

It shows the status and progress of the operations being performed. The status bar also displays hints for the toolbar buttons and menu items when the mouse is over them.

The pane allows you to specify the object's details, such as title, description, number, visibility, Help ID code, etc. See Settings Pane section for more details.
