Creating new project
To create a new local project, use one of the ways described below:

use the Startup screen;

click
button in the main toolbar; -
go to menu File -> Create a local project;

use Ctrl+N keyboard shortcut.
To create a new shared project, use one of the ways described below:

use the Startup screen;

go to menu File -> Create a shared project on the server.
To create a new project from project template, use one of the ways described below:

use Startup screen;

go to menu File -> Create a local project from a template and select the desired template:

click the arrow down icon to the right of
button in the main toolbar, then go to Create a local project from a template item and select the desired template:
Once the new project is created, you can start adding new topics and editing content.
It's suggested to save your project regularly. Once you're done working on the project, export it to create the documentation for the end-users.
